MDG remembers Susan Conkling

Dear MDG friends,

The MayDay Group was saddened this week to learn of the death of Susan Wharton Conkling. Susan was a Professor of Music Education at the College of Fine Arts, Boston University. She mentored hundreds of music educators, and was a dear friend to many of our members.

We are grateful for her friendship, compassion, and kindness; and her exceptional contributions to music education.
